If
you haven't heard about us before, here's the scoop:
Zopiclone is an original band composed of outstanding performers
from a variety of musical backgrounds. Our sound blends elements
of rock, funk, jazz, 80s new wave and prog into a feast for your
ears. Energetic live performances are filled with catchy bass-groovy
original material..
Marble
Sky was our debut album, and features 13 original tracks. It is
self-produced and sonically top-notch.
Tracked
and mixed at London's Emac Recording Studios, under the engineering
wizardry of Rob Nation and assistant engineer and Pro-tools guru
Aaron Murray, the band put in close to 200 hours in the studio.
To put the final gloss on the record, Jeff and Christian took
a trip to New York to Sterling Sound to work with Grammy-winning
chief mastering engineer Ted Jenson (his credits read like a who's-who
of music: Dave Matthews, Green Day, Norah Jones...). The resulting
record is full of driving bass grooves, rock-solid drumming, slick
guitar, cool horns, analogue keys and rocking vocals.
